Il Mare Davanti

Within the framework of art direction activities about the restoration of ancient Molfetta Seminary and its conversion into Dogana Resort touristic facility, NCB has promoted and coordinated an editorial input dedicated to the restauration and the enhancement of the building. This was an homage to the history of Molfetta, its Monuments and Traditions: San Corrado dome, the ancient Borgo Marinaro, the Cathedral and  the Diocesano museum, the Martiri Madonna and the Holy Week rituals. A sincere manifest which wanted to set off the indissoluble relation between architecture and culture, between the place identity and Its inhabitants identity. This publication has been possible thanks to the help of local history exponents – Paola de Pinto and Lucrezia Modugno – and the benevolent sponsorship of partners and suppliers envolved into the project.
