Guest dedicates an article of its n. 18 edition to the recent challenge raised by NCBARCHITETTURA: the realization of a contemporary hospitality structure along the waterfront of Molfetta. This project represents a full-fledged first step toward the town seafront regeneration and also a local tourism renewal. The ancient building, recognized as historic-artistic and monumental asset, has been actually subject to a deep conservative restoration and also an accurate conversion into an hotel, celebrating its textural and compositional potential, its decorative traits and its masonry stratigraphy, but mostly the strong relationship with the Mediterranean blue, the facing sea.
